The partnership leverages Poșta Română’s extensive network, which includes home delivery, automated lockers, and traditional post offices. By streamlining collection and sorting, the deal addresses logistical bottlenecks that often deter small enterprises from entering digital commerce. Valentin Ștefan, CEO of Poșta Română, emphasized that the collaboration extends service access to rural communities, positioning the national carrier as a critical facilitator for local sellers.
Since opening its platform to Romanian businesses in March 2025, Temu has sought to integrate more deeply with regional players. A company spokesperson noted that many European small businesses struggle with the complexity of online logistics, a gap this collaboration intends to bridge. Beyond domestic fulfillment, the companies plan to hold joint events to assist local vendors in scaling their operations and navigating the broader European market.
