Nexio Power Accelerates Truck Production with 77-Acre Texas Facility

The Anderson facility arrives fully equipped for complex vehicle manufacturing, retaining specialized assets from its previous operator. Nexio inherits thirteen overhead cranes with capacities up to 25 tons, dedicated paint and sandblast booths, and a test complex featuring a 300,000-gallon water storage tank. This existing footprint allows the company to handle the full vehicle lifecycle on-site, including chassis preparation, powertrain installation, and final quality control testing.

COO Ryan Gaul noted that the site’s proximity to existing industrial corridors and the technical talent pool at Texas A&M influenced the acquisition. While Lufkin remains the primary long-term campus, Anderson serves as essential capacity for current volume ramp-up. Strategically located on Highway 30 in Grimes County, the site sits within 90 miles of the Port of Houston, simplifying the logistics for both inbound components and finished vehicle distribution. The company plans to utilize the remaining acreage for phased expansion as production needs evolve.
