Zara Zoffany Retracts Criticism of DWTS Pro Rylee Arnold

The online friction surrounding Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro has shifted toward reconciliation after Zara Zoffany, fiancée of contestant AJ Pritchard, issued a public apology to professional dancer Rylee Arnold. The move follows a wave of intense backlash triggered by Zoffany’s earlier public critiques of the 21-year-old performer.

Zoffany’s initial comments emerged after a chaotic rehearsal period during the show’s semifinal episode, where Pritchard and Arnold were paired for a cha-cha. Following the performance, Arnold told judges that Pritchard proved difficult to work with, a remark that prompted Zoffany to lash out on social media. Zoffany alleged that Arnold had struck her fiancé during practice, resulting in a concussion, and unfavorably compared her performance to that of social media influencer Bailey McKnight.

In a recent TikTok video, Zoffany clarified that her outburst was fueled by mounting frustration over the negative portrayal of her fiancé online. She emphasized that she never intended to question Arnold’s professional credentials or her right to compete on the show. Rylee Arnold, who rose to prominence on DWTS: Juniors before joining the main lineup in 2023, has faced scrutiny while managing type 1 diabetes, a challenge she has navigated since her teens.

Support for Arnold was swift, with fellow pro Ezra Sosa and judge Shirley Ballas both defending her professional integrity. Sosa condemned the attacks on his close friend, while Ballas stressed that Arnold’s position in the competition is the result of long-term dedication and technical skill. Despite the public nature of the dispute, Arnold has previously maintained a pragmatic view on social media criticism, often emphasizing the importance of staying focused on the work rather than the noise of online platforms.
