RangeWater Real Estate Acquires 280-Unit Buckhead Multifamily Complex

Built in 2015, the five-story mid-rise property sits on 5.56 acres and offers a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom residences. RangeWater intends to launch a series of interior renovations and amenity upgrades to modernize the community, which is situated near major regional employment hubs including Midtown, Cumberland, and Downtown Atlanta. The location is particularly attractive due to its proximity to over 1.6 million square feet of medical office space, including facilities affiliated with Wellstar, Piedmont, and Emory.

Brian Soss, Executive Managing Director of Acquisitions at RangeWater, noted that the firm identified the opportunity by tracking leading market indicators and leveraging local industry relationships. The acquisition was sourced directly from Bell Partners, a move that consolidates RangeWater’s footprint in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The company currently manages 9,744 units across the region, with 2,140 of those located within a five-mile radius of the newly acquired site, providing a significant operational advantage for the firm’s local management team.
