The expansion allows the manufacturer to move beyond standard industrial piping into projects where regulatory compliance is mandatory. CleanLine products are engineered to meet both AWWA C228 and ASME B16.5/B16.47 standards, providing contractors and municipalities with vetted hardware for water treatment plants, filtration systems, and reverse-osmosis setups. By utilizing dual-grade 304/304L and 316/316L stainless steel, the firm ensures durability across varying chloride levels and corrosive environments.
VP of Sales Ric Henderson noted that the move is a direct response to customer demand for certified components that maintain the same material integrity as traditional industrial flanges. Beyond municipal waterworks, the company is positioning the line to serve the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. Crucially, the entire range is domestically produced, meeting American Iron and Steel (AIS) and Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements. Beyond the standard inventory, API International is offering to evaluate custom flange designs to determine if they qualify for inclusion under the company's existing NSF certification umbrella.
