Constructed with six-layer compressible insulation, the new cover supports temperature ranges of +2°C to +8°C and +15°C to +25°C. Its modular architecture allows for consistent application across various cold chain touchpoints, standing 1.5 meters high to accommodate up to eight Euro pallets or six US pallets. Unlike single-use alternatives, this product is supported by a comprehensive refurbishment model intended to sustain performance throughout its lifecycle.
CSafe CEO Patrick Schafer noted that the addition specifically targets high-volume lanes where companies struggle with the disposal costs and waste associated with repeated, large-scale shipments. By moving toward a reusable model, freight forwarders and airlines can align their logistics with sustainability goals without sacrificing the safety of temperature-sensitive therapies. The Silverskin RE PMC is currently available for both purchase and rental through the company's global network.
