Wahl Professional Launches Vapor Switch Clipper for Barbers

The core of the new tool is the HyperShift Dual-Speed Brushless Motor, which allows users to alternate between 7,000 RPM for controlled work and 9,000 RPM for high-speed fading. This motor works alongside Adaptive Speed Control, a system that automatically adjusts power output based on hair texture to maintain consistency throughout a service.

Beyond motor performance, the device features a Rapid Switch taper lever that enables barbers to toggle between five-click positions or free-flow movement without needing extra tools. The updated F32 Drift Blade includes an integrated oil reservoir to mitigate friction and heat, while the housing now displays LED indicators—blue for the lower speed and purple for the higher setting—to provide immediate visual status updates. The unit supports USB-C charging and offers up to 3.5 hours of cordless runtime, with a five-minute quick-charge option providing 10 minutes of use. The Vapor Switch will be available through authorized distributors and the company's website starting September 2026.
