PartsSource Hires Former Epic Executive Nick Marzotto to Spearhead AI

Marzotto joins the company as Vice President of AI and Data, a role that centers on integrating machine learning and data science across the firm's existing clinical technology platform. During his tenure at Epic, he oversaw the deployment of generative AI initiatives that scaled across 500 health systems, achieving a 32x increase in adoption. His mandate at PartsSource involves building a cohesive intelligence layer that connects disparate information from medical equipment vendors, service organizations, and internal hospital workflows.

CEO Philip Settimi emphasized that the goal is to shift healthcare technology management from a reactive state to a proactive one. By applying AI to the vast "fleet" of connected medical devices, the company intends to provide health systems with the same level of digital connectivity that EHRs brought to patient records. Marzotto will work directly with product teams to embed these capabilities into the foundation of the platform rather than treating them as supplemental features.
