Pudu Robotics Enters Groundskeeping Market with New GT Mower Series

Shenzhen-based Pudu Robotics is expanding its portfolio beyond indoor service units with the launch of the PUDU GT series. The new lineup features three specialized autonomous mowers—the GT3, GT5, and GT7—engineered to automate turf maintenance across commercial campuses, large-scale parks, and high-precision venues like golf courses.

The PUDU GT3 acts as a compact, 36-inch solution for facilities managers dealing with fragmented spaces, combining grass cutting with sweeping capabilities for mixed hardscape-and-turf sites. For broader coverage, the 60-inch PUDU GT5 targets landscaping contractors, offering an operating efficiency of approximately 2 acres per hour with a runtime capable of reaching 16 acres on a single charge. At the high end, the GT7 provides a 62-inch triplex reel system for professional sports fields and golf courses, utilizing RTK and LiDAR for precision within 2.5 centimeters.

All three models run on an AI-native autonomy architecture designed to navigate complex outdoor environments while avoiding obstacles. The machines feature all-metal, IP66-rated chassis to withstand commercial use. Pudu will debut the series at the GaLaBau 2026 trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, scheduled for September 15–18. These units mark a strategic shift for the company, which currently ranks as a global leader in commercial service robotics by shipment volume, as it moves to address the labor-intensive demands of professional groundskeeping.
