Reporting directly to CEO Erik Lundgren, Davé joins the executive leadership team to unify the company's data engineering and digital capabilities. His arrival comes as the firm prepares to release top-line data from its Phase 3 ENSURE trials for vidofludimus calcium by the end of 2026. Lundgren emphasized that the company is transitioning from late-stage clinical research to commercial execution, a shift requiring a robust, disruptive data ecosystem to handle upcoming regulatory submissions.
Davé brings over 25 years of experience in regulated life sciences to the role. Most recently, he led enterprise data and AI initiatives at Avidity Biosciences and previously held senior leadership positions at Edwards Lifesciences and Medtronic. His mandate at Immunic involves integrating AI-driven insights to accelerate clinical execution and establish scalable commercial foundations. To formalize his appointment, the company’s board granted Davé an initial equity option to purchase 120,000 shares of common stock, subject to standard vesting requirements.
