Laifen Pivots to Full-Scale Beauty Tech with Three New Home Devices

Laifen is shedding its identity as a specialized hair dryer manufacturer, unveiling a trio of devices—the Swift 4 hair dryer, AutoCurl iron, and Glowy vanity mirror—to capture the entire at-home grooming cycle. This expansion signals a push to consolidate the fragmented beauty routine under a single technology-first ecosystem.

The company’s shift centers on addressing common daily frustrations, such as inconsistent drying, difficult styling techniques, and poor vanity lighting. The Swift 4 High-Speed Hair Dryer introduces a "Nourishing Mode" that utilizes a specialized pod and nozzle system to distribute hair serums via airflow, while simultaneously deploying 470 million combined positive and negative ions to neutralize static and manage frizz.

For styling, the AutoCurl Curling Iron automates the process using a dual-chamber design that detects hair position to eliminate manual left-and-right switching. A micro-servo motor monitors for tension in real time, pausing rotation to prevent snagging. Completing the lineup, the Glowy Vanity Mirror integrates a 24 GHz radar sensor to automate power based on user proximity. It features full-spectrum LED lighting designed to mimic natural daylight and a smart memory function to recall brightness and temperature preferences.

These products will make their U.S. debut at a dedicated media event in New York City on September 17. The launch serves as a cornerstone for Laifen’s broader market expansion, moving the brand beyond its core hair care roots and into the wider personal care technology space.
