Commissioning at the Turkish facility is proceeding according to the company’s internal timeline, with the site now moving into a ramp-up phase. Management is shifting its focus toward scaling throughput and optimizing plant performance to hit full operational capacity by the end of 2026.
Artem Volynets, Chairman and CEO of ACG, described the production as a defining milestone that validates the team’s execution capabilities. The company intends to increase recovery rates and deliver consistent concentrate quality as it moves toward a steady-state target of 20-25kt of copper equivalent production annually. ACG acquired the Gediktepe asset in September 2024 and has spent the subsequent two years retooling the mine for its current copper and zinc output.
