AEG targets home cooking and cleaning at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Electrolux-owned brand AEG is shifting focus toward unconventional kitchen and household solutions. The company unveiled a hob specifically engineered for automated pasta cooking, alongside an ultra-light handheld vacuum and a new design-focused appliance collection, all framed within a campaign dubbed The Art of Hosting.

The centerpiece of the brand’s exhibition is the 7000 series OnePot Pasta hob, which uses automated settings to cook pasta in 15 minutes without manual monitoring. Partnering with the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, AEG validated the performance of this system through blind sensory tests, aiming to solve the common issue of inconsistent results in home cooking. The unit itself features a SaphirMatt surface designed to resist visible scratching more effectively than standard ceramic glass models.

Beyond the kitchen, the company is expanding its floor care portfolio with the 0.55kg ErgoMini vacuum and the slim Trilobite 8000 GEN2 robot. These releases coincide with a broader push to address specific consumer anxieties, such as laundry care for wool garments—a segment where AEG has strengthened its Woolmark-certified offerings. The brand is also highlighting its Design Collection, a series of small domestic appliances recognized by the Red Dot awards, which includes a versatile 3-in-1 pizza oven designed to meet rising consumer demand for restaurant-quality home results.

Leandro Jasiocha, Head of Region EMEA at Electrolux Group, stated that these products represent a move away from convention, focusing on connected technology that assists users throughout the hosting process. The company will host a live demonstration of the new hob on September 3, featuring Michelin-starred chef Davide Oldani, as part of a five-day program exploring modern hosting philosophies.
