The firm’s expansion into markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific follows a period of heightened demand for screening systems that bypass the regulatory hurdles associated with traditional X-ray equipment. According to CEO Alex Sappok, the company’s T-ray systems offer 300 times the sensitivity of conventional tools while maintaining a significantly smaller footprint. This capability allows for the detection of low-density materials without the radiation safety permits typically required for standard security infrastructure.
Driving this growth is a proprietary digital ecosystem bolstered by a $1.5 million research program funded by the National Science Foundation. Completed this June, the project centered on developing custom AI models trained on RaySecur’s unique high-resolution T-ray video database. By automating threat detection and evidence reporting, these software advancements are now central to the company’s long-term product strategy. As the security sector faces increasingly complex smuggling methods, RaySecur’s focus on non-invasive, high-speed imaging has positioned it as a key player in the federal, corrections, and corporate security markets.
