The partnership combines HUMAIN’s full-stack AI capabilities with KORA’s expertise in Linux and edge computing. By embedding intelligence at the system level, the developers intend to create an environment where the computer understands user objectives, assembles necessary context, and determines the most efficient way to complete tasks across device, cloud, and enterprise infrastructures. A demonstration of the early architecture is currently being showcased at LEAP 2026, with a commercial launch slated for 2027.
Central to the development is an on-device intelligence layer optimized for Qualcomm computing platforms. The teams are targeting a 26-billion-parameter model capable of running locally on the Qualcomm NPU to ensure privacy and low-latency performance for sensitive workloads. Beyond local execution, the system will orchestrate AI distribution based on security policies, connectivity, and model requirements. By leveraging Linux as a foundation, the project aims to bridge the gap between traditional desktop management and a new model of agentic computing, where the OS acts as the primary intermediary between human intent and machine action.
