Fleet Dynamics Targets $200 Billion Market with Autonomous Aerial Tools

Salt Lake City entrepreneur Michael Lanctot is bridging the gap between autonomous technology and field operations with the launch of Fleet Dynamics. By leveraging his established customer-acquisition firm, YNR, the new company gains immediate access to a nationwide sales network and verified demand across the pest control and landscaping sectors.

Rather than developing hardware in a vacuum, Fleet Dynamics utilizes a modular aerial platform designed to solve specific operational bottlenecks. The system features a single airframe with interchangeable tools—including liquid sprayers, granulators, and paint-striping units—each equipped with its own power supply. This architecture allows operators to scale service capabilities without replacing the core aircraft, while simultaneously reducing chemical runoff and fuel consumption through precision application.

The venture is built on the foundation of Lanctot’s existing business, YNR, which manages a network of 1,000 sales professionals and generates over $70 million in annual revenue. By bypassing traditional venture capital in favor of internal funding, Lanctot maintains control over a development cycle that targets a combined $200 billion industry. With the pest control market currently valued at $13.4 billion and the landscaping sector exceeding $188 billion, Fleet Dynamics aims to provide essential-service providers with the autonomous engineering capabilities they currently lack.
