Krishna noted that Sanfilippo’s expertise in utilizing AI and complex data sets to streamline consumer-facing technology will be instrumental in unifying Redfin’s brokerage operations with Rocket’s mortgage and closing services.
Sanfilippo’s career includes significant tenures at companies like SAP, Hotwire, and United Airlines. During his time at Meta, he led global teams in data engineering and user research, contributing to the development of AI-enabled wearable technology. Prior to that, he managed data and research for WhatsApp, playing a role in the platform's U.S. growth strategy. His appointment comes as Rocket Companies works to integrate its real estate and financial services following its acquisition of Redfin in July 2025.
