EYKON Emerges as Independent Force in Utility Infrastructure

Stepping out from the legacy of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA division, EYKON has officially launched its new brand identity in Cham, Switzerland. The independent utility infrastructure company is positioning itself to tackle the mounting pressure on energy and water networks by focusing on connectivity and operational efficiency across its 75-market footprint.

The rebranding marks a transition for a firm backed by 130 years of Swiss engineering. Rather than simply deploying new hardware, the company aims to optimize existing infrastructure by bridging the gap between raw measurement data and daily utility operations. CEO Alexander Henschel stated that the move provides a unified foundation to support customers as they navigate the complexities of modernizing aging networks.

With over 100 million connected endpoints under its management, EYKON is leveraging its established regional presence to pivot toward a more integrated technology approach. The company plans to showcase this strategy at the upcoming ENLIT event, where they will demonstrate how their synthesis of data and utility expertise aims to unlock value from currently installed systems.
