xTool Unveils X1 Laser Platform to Consolidate Desktop Manufacturing

The X1 addresses long-standing hardware bottlenecks where creators previously required separate CO₂, diode, fiber, and UV machines to process diverse materials. At the heart of the platform is the Hybrid Motion system, which synchronizes a 55W CO₂ laser with a 20W diode galvo head, enabling speeds of up to 6,000 mm/s. This architecture is supported by a UniCast frame, an automotive-grade aluminum structure that replaces hundreds of individual parts with three monolithic components to ensure precision under high-speed mechanical stress.

Beyond the hardware, xTool introduced a modular Laser Swap interface, allowing users to expand capabilities—including 30W Fiber or 60W MOPA modules—without replacing the primary chassis. During the launch, company leadership highlighted the role of Atomm, an AI-driven software suite that automates design generation and material parameter settings.
