Shopsense AI recruits former Amazon executive Alan Lewis as CPO

Shopsense AI has appointed veteran product leader Alan Lewis as its new Chief Product Officer. Lewis, who previously helped launch Amazon Marketing Cloud and held senior roles at eBay and Alibaba, joins the AI-driven commerce firm to oversee the expansion of its enterprise platforms and retail shopping experiences.

Lewis brings over two decades of experience in large-scale commerce and advertising technology to the company. His appointment reunites him with Shopsense AI CEO and co-founder Bryan Quinn, with whom he previously collaborated during his tenure at Amazon. According to Quinn, Lewis’s background in managing flagship enterprise platforms makes him a pivotal hire for the company’s next phase of growth as it scales its proprietary retail technology.

In his new role, Lewis will focus on advancing the company’s 'Content to Commerce' shopping solutions. Reflecting on his transition to the all-remote organization, Lewis noted that the speed of execution and collaborative culture were key factors in his decision to join. He joins the firm as it looks to strengthen its footprint in the competitive AI retail market, leveraging his deep expertise in enterprise-grade product development.
