The store integrates advanced retail systems already tested in European markets, specifically featuring robotic hanger sorters and radio frequency identification (RFID) self-checkouts. These systems allow shoppers to process purchases without manually scanning individual items, streamlining the traditional checkout experience.
Pablo Sueiras, Head of Retail & Hospitality Leasing at Landsec, noted that the arrival of Lefties deepens the existing relationship between the property group and Inditex. He described the opening as a reflection of the confidence global retailers place in Liverpool ONE to provide the scale and visibility necessary for long-term growth. With this latest addition, the brand now maintains a presence in 20 global markets with a total footprint of 225 stores.
