Rees-Williams spent six years at the start of his professional life with the Surbiton-based firm. He arrives back at a time when Viadex is scaling its operations across more than 100 countries, targeting clients who require complex, managed technology roadmaps. His previous tenure at Continent 8 involved managing the profit and loss for North American operations, specifically within the highly regulated sectors of cloud connectivity and cybersecurity for major betting operators like FanDuel and DraftKings.
At Viadex, his mandate centers on simplifying the procurement and management of global technology for enterprise clients. CEO Dino Cooper noted that the appointment leverages Rees-Williams' experience in demanding environments to support the company’s next phase of growth. Managing Director Dan Hayden-Hammond added that the move aligns with the firm's goal of capturing increased market share by balancing commercial rigor with deep client-side infrastructure needs. Rees-Williams will oversee efforts to integrate AWS and managed service practices into long-term customer engagements.
