The new system compresses 34,000 pages of technical manuals onto a single iPad, enabling technicians to retrieve cited source pages in under two seconds without internet connectivity.

The aviation industry demands strict adherence to technical documentation, often requiring technicians to leave their stations to hunt through thousands of pages of manual sets. webAI Frontline targets this inefficiency by running on-device, bypassing the need for cloud infrastructure. By utilizing a proprietary architecture that reduces memory footprint by a factor of 30, the system allows standard Apple Silicon hardware to process complex queries locally. This capability proves critical in environments where connectivity is prohibited or sensitive data cannot leave the facility.

David Stout, CEO and co-founder of webAI, noted that the system eliminates the temptation for workers to skip verification steps when they are uncertain, as the tool provides instant, cited answers directly at the point of work. Unlike cloud-based alternatives, the platform does not charge per prompt, encouraging frequent use throughout a maintenance cycle. The software is currently available through co-development engagements, with deployment optimized for iPad Pro models featuring M4 or M5 chips and a minimum of 12 GB of RAM.
