CEO Li Wang characterized the legal outcome as disconnected from the established record, specifically pointing to prior court findings regarding the conduct of Shoals’ counsel during the patent acquisition process. The company asserts that its proprietary LYNX system, created in 2021, predates the patents currently being asserted by Shoals by three years.
Despite the ongoing legal friction, the company confirmed that production of its LYNX PLUS trunk bus solution continues uninterrupted. This hardware, which boasts a 34% reduction in voltage drop and 10–15% in material savings, remains a central component of their current market offerings. Voltage Energy plans to showcase further technological developments at the upcoming RE+ 2026 conference in Las Vegas this November, alongside the scheduled expansion of its Power Ranch facility in Roxboro.
