The insurer contributes approximately $40,000 annually to the scholarship fund, enabling eight students to pursue higher education in 2025 alone. For McBane, who received aid for both his undergraduate studies at Northeastern State University and his current master’s program at the University of Arkansas, the financial support provided a necessary bridge to focus on academics and campus leadership.

By integrating awareness of the nonprofit into their claims process, the company aims to ensure that children of injured or deceased workers are connected to resources early.
