The partnership enables Officeworks to utilize Sponsored Snaps, standard Snap Ads, and catalogue-driven Dynamic Product Ads to bridge the gap between digital discovery and physical sales. The retailer has already launched an inaugural campaign for Microsoft, aiming to stimulate demand across both online storefronts and brick-and-mortar locations.
Andy Mossop, Chief Customer Officer at Officeworks, stated that the move is part of a broader strategy to build a retail media network that provides measurable value for suppliers. By leveraging Zitcha’s technology, the company seeks to connect with shoppers in more relevant environments than traditional display advertising allows.
Steve Biddle, Chief Commercial Officer at Zitcha, noted that the industry is shifting away from simple impression-buying toward offsite media linked to concrete retail outcomes. According to Ryan Ferguson, Managing Director at Snap Inc. ANZ, Gen Z consumers frequently share and discuss purchase decisions within private chats, making the platform a high-value space for brands to show up in moments of genuine intent.
