The collaboration features Roots’ signature jerk chicken recipes alongside a curated selection of barbecue essentials. Customers in designated areas can utilize Amazon Now to receive orders in under 30 minutes, with items ranging from branded sausages and beef burgers to fresh produce. This service expansion marks a significant push for the retail giant, which recently extended its rapid delivery footprint to Manchester, its first city outside the capital to host the initiative.

John Boumphrey, UK Country Manager at Amazon, noted that the expansion relies on a network of micro-fulfillment centers strategically positioned near residential hubs. These facilities currently serve multiple London districts, including Southwark and Notting Hill, with additional sites in Salford and Stockport slated to join the network in the coming weeks. The move highlights Amazon’s ongoing effort to integrate local grocery needs with the logistical speed of its inner-city distribution model.
