Gravity 360 Acquires Med-Lake Laboratory to Expand Southern Footprint

Founded in 2018, Med-Lake Laboratory serves a diverse network of physician practices, skilled nursing facilities, and judicial programs with high-complexity testing, including clinical toxicology and PCR-based infectious disease diagnostics. By joining the Gravity family, the laboratory retains its local operations in Milledgeville while gaining access to the parent company’s broader revenue cycle infrastructure, compliance programs, and purchasing scale.

Tony Remington, CEO and Founder of Gravity 360, described the acquisition as a commitment to bringing Gravity’s clinical standards to a wider patient base in the Southeast. Med-Lake CEO Randy Peters noted that the partnership allows the laboratory to scale its reach while maintaining the existing team and service continuity for its long-standing clients. The acquisition follows a period of deliberate growth for Gravity 360, which operates its flagship company, Gravity Diagnostics, as a nationwide provider licensed in all fifty states. While financial terms were not disclosed, the company confirmed plans to invest in Med-Lake’s local operations and expand its testing menu to better serve regional healthcare providers.
