Antare Launches AI Platform to Automate Physical Security Monitoring

The platform functions by deploying AI agents that monitor video and audio streams for specific indicators, such as physical or verbal assaults, potential safety hazards, or the presence of weapons. When a risk is detected, the Antare Console streams live footage and alerts to colleagues through a dedicated mobile application. CEO Mark Michaelides noted that the technology addresses the limitations of traditional security systems, which often rely on retrospective review rather than proactive, in-the-moment intervention.

Antare is launching with two body-worn camera models: the Pro version, built for durability and extended battery life, and the Compact version, designed for discreet use in customer-facing roles. Both devices integrate with a cloud-based console that supports existing fixed camera infrastructure via the upcoming Antare Cloud Gateway. The service operates on a subscription model without fixed terms or minimum order quantities. To address security concerns, the company has implemented role-based access, regional data storage, and end-to-end encryption, currently holding SOC 2 Type I certification with further compliance standards in development.
