Opposition to the president is even more pronounced regarding his general job performance, with 57% of voters expressing disapproval. The advocacy group behind the poll has built its campaign on a list of over 25 grounds for removal, specifically citing the militarization of federal law enforcement agencies like ICE and unauthorized military actions in the Middle East. While Republican control of both chambers of Congress currently shields the president from formal proceedings, the data reflects a deepening divide that has already prompted acknowledgment from the White House regarding the risks posed by upcoming midterm elections.
