The investment targets the scaling of MobileX’s AI-powered platform, which predicts consumer data needs to deliver personalized, low-cost wireless plans. Since its inception, the company has positioned itself against traditional industry pricing models, offering service tiers that start at $3.88 per month. Founder and CEO Peter Adderton stated that the partnership provides the necessary resources to compete at a significantly larger scale.
Beyond technical development, the funding will drive an aggressive expansion of MobileX’s retail footprint. The company currently maintains a presence in over 3,700 Walmart stores and 5,000 independent dealer locations. With this new capital, leadership plans to accelerate customer acquisition and explore broader opportunities in global connectivity. While financial terms remain undisclosed, the move places MobileX in a stronger position to challenge traditional carriers by leveraging its proprietary technology to automate plan selection and optimize data usage for 5G subscribers.
