Jino Cabrera, CEO and President of the Mister USA and Mister Universe Organization, emphasized that the move aims to cultivate a national platform centered on the modern man’s ambition and individuality rather than static pageantry. By selecting The Portal as the venue, organizers sought to blend fashion, high-production visuals, and competition into a singular experience that departs from the traditional ballroom format.
The judging panel, which included representatives from The Blast, evaluated 23 contestants through personal interviews, swimwear, and formal wear segments. The field was narrowed to 12 finalists before the final tally secured the win for Kanipe, with Mister Nevada, Colin Walling, taking second place. Looking ahead, the reigning Mister USA 2025, Michael Chadwick, is slated to compete in the Mister Universe pageant this November in Los Angeles, establishing a clear professional pipeline for the organization’s winners.
