The funding round was led by Aristagora VC, with additional backing from Nika Capital, RGE Group, and Peter Kadas. The investment marks a significant step for the company as it prepares for its first international commercial installations and the launch of US-based community initiatives.
Swish Basket’s platform utilizes a combination of cameras and lidar mounted above hoops to track shot accuracy, arc, and mechanics in real time. By running processing directly on the sensor rather than in the cloud, the system identifies individual players and syncs data to digital profiles without requiring wearables or complex setup. The technology has already seen live deployment in US tournaments, where it powered synchronized leaderboards for multi-hoop competitions. According to Bar-El, the goal is to provide a connected data layer for basketball that allows courts worldwide to function as a unified, measurable experience.
