Superdrug to expand footprint at Harlequin Watford

The expansion allows the retailer to introduce a broader selection of skincare, cosmetics, and wellness products while incorporating its signature Beauty Studio, which offers specialized treatments and piercing services. Property Director Clare Jennings confirmed that the investment highlights the brand's ongoing commitment to physical retail and will generate additional jobs for the local community.

This upgrade follows a period of significant reinvestment at the Hertfordshire site. According to Robert Jewell, Managing Director of Asset Management at Pradera, the centre has attracted £16.7 million in tenant enhancements over the past two years, including a major expansion by Goldsmiths. The management views Superdrug’s decision to scale up as a validation of the centre's ability to serve its extensive catchment area through active leasing strategies.
