Wingstop reaches 100-site milestone with Inverness opening

Wingstop has officially hit its 100th location across the UK and Ireland, marking the expansion with a new restaurant in Inverness, Scotland. The milestone comes as the fast-food chain reports a 73% surge in revenue to £216.4 million for 2025, fueled by an aggressive store rollout strategy.

The company plans to sustain this momentum with up to 30 additional locations across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland throughout the year. Chris Sherriff, Chief Executive at Wingstop UKI, credited the record performance to a focus on differentiated products and memorable customer experiences, noting that the brand has successfully navigated significant headwinds within the hospitality sector.

Beyond its physical expansion, the company is doubling down on its digital strategy by appointing Jordan Yankovich as Chief AI Officer. Yankovich joins the restaurant group from Boston Consulting Group, where he served as a Partner, to lead the brand’s transition into an AI-native operation. As the company looks toward future growth, Sherriff confirmed that international expansion plans are already underway, with the brand preparing to introduce its signature flavors to the Polish market.
