Throughout the week, staff members mobilized to support local nonprofits, including Elijah’s Promise, where teams assisted with meal preparation and logistics. Practical contributions included the assembly of 96 backpacks for children treated by The Valerie Fund and 192 snack packs for the Center for Food Action. Founder Jim Dittman noted that these efforts reflect a philosophy established in 1976, where business success and community responsibility are inextricably linked.
To mark the half-century milestone, the company donated $25,000 to five organizations also established in 1976: The Valerie Fund, Center for Food Action, Center for Hope & Safety, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey, and Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity. President Dave Dittman described the initiative as a bridge between the company's history and its future trajectory, maintaining that the firm’s commitment to service remains a core component of its organizational identity as it enters its next chapter.
