Simba Sleep boosts checkout conversions with Snap Finance integration

Sleep technology brand Simba has reported a 50% increase in average order value and a tenfold rise in secondary finance approvals since integrating Snap Finance UK into its checkout process. The partnership allows the retailer to capture customers previously declined by mainstream lenders through a bespoke Shopify plugin.

The implementation of Snap’s finance solution has enabled Simba to recover 17% of first-line credit declines within six months. By offering inclusive, responsible credit options directly at the point of sale, the brand has created a digital-first journey that mitigates lost demand. Simba has now expanded the service, making Snap’s payment options available to all shoppers upfront rather than solely as a fallback for those rejected by primary lenders.

Jon Moore, Marketing and eCommerce Director at Simba, stated that the move aligns with the brand's commitment to accessibility and socially conscious operations. According to Snap Finance CEO Andy Smith, the collaboration highlights the effectiveness of a multi-lender strategy, which ensures that consumers with limited credit histories or non-standard income streams are not excluded from high-value purchases like mattresses.
