Riverbay Plaza Secures Long-Term Renewals for Key Tenants

Three long-standing tenants at Riverview’s Riverbay Plaza—North Shore Liberty Tax, New China, and Jackson Hewitt—have finalized multi-year lease extensions. Overseen by ABS Management & Development Corp. President Yechiel Rivlin, these agreements solidify the shopping center's role as a consistent service hub along the U.S. 301 commercial corridor in Hillsborough County.

The renewals reflect a deliberate pivot toward tenant retention over property turnover. By maintaining a mix of tax preparation firms and dining options, ownership aims to provide stable, year-round utility for the surrounding community. Rivlin noted that such continuity serves as a primary indicator of a property's health, arguing that successful ownership relies on fostering existing relationships rather than chasing constant vacancy replacement.

ABS Management continues to oversee daily operations at the site, emphasizing maintenance and communication to support the center’s neighborhood-focused business model. This strategy highlights the evolving nature of local retail spaces, where service-oriented businesses increasingly drive consistent foot traffic alongside traditional storefronts. As the company evaluates further improvement opportunities, these extensions provide a stable foundation for the property's long-term management strategy.
