The company will continue to produce its core lines, including EasyCare and UltraCare beds, Hoyer patient-handling equipment, and the Dolphin and P.R.O. Matt therapeutic support surfaces.
Doug Ferguson, President and CEO of Joerns Healthcare, stated that the divestiture allows the firm to concentrate resources on North American growth. By narrowing its operational scope, the company aims to accelerate innovation cycles and better address the evolving clinical and economic demands of healthcare providers. Avance Care Group assumes responsibility for existing customer support, ensuring continuity for those currently utilizing Joerns’ technology in the Benelux market.
