Greenberg Traurig Earns Five Nominations for 2026 IFLR Middle East Awards

Five nominations for the 2026 IFLR Middle East Awards have been secured by Greenberg Traurig, marking a significant milestone for the firm’s regional expansion. The accolades, set to be presented on October 8 in Dubai, recognize the firm’s contributions to complex financial mandates and regulatory policy across the Middle East.

The firm’s shortlisting spans diverse practice areas, including the Debt & Equity-Linked Deal of the Year for the Kuwait Finance House AT1 Mudaraba Sukuk, as well as recognition in the Public Policy & Regulation and Net-Zero Transition categories. Beyond institutional achievements, the publication named Corporate Shareholder Krishen Patel as a finalist for the Rising Star – International award, highlighting the firm’s focus on developing its next generation of legal talent.

Executive Chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum noted that the nominations reflect the firm's momentum since establishing its regional platform. With offices now operating in Riyadh, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, Greenberg Traurig has rapidly integrated into sectors ranging from energy and infrastructure to sports and entertainment. Khalid A. Al-Thebity, Regional Chairman, described the recognition as evidence of the firm's ability to blend deep local market insight with international legal standards to serve evolving client ambitions.
