Founded in 1957 by Dick Milkie, the acquired firm specializes in roofing and siding services. Jeff Milkie, who currently leads the business, will transition the company under the Valor umbrella, citing the need for additional resources to support future growth and employee development. The deal aligns with Valor’s broader strategy of consolidating regional home service providers.
CEO Jerry Arteaga noted that the move is a natural evolution for the platform’s Great Lakes expansion. Valor, which focuses on various exterior home maintenance services, intends to continue its aggressive buy-and-build approach. Osceola Capital, the Tampa-based private equity firm supporting the platform, typically targets lower middle-market companies with EBITDA between $2 million and $10 million, leveraging these acquisitions to establish a dominant footprint in the residential services sector.
