The project serves as the first phase of an extensive infrastructure rollout, with further NVIDIA GPU clusters scheduled for delivery across Australian data centers in the coming months. Revenue from the contract is expected to materialize in stages throughout the third and fourth quarters of 2026.
James Manning, CEO and co-founder of Sharon AI, described the project as a test of the company's operational discipline and partner ecosystem. The firm is currently managing 212MW of total AI Factory capacity, with 120MW already locked into multi-year take-or-pay agreements. This latest deployment is part of a broader strategy to meet rising demand for sovereign AI infrastructure across New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
