1911 Gold Reports High Metallurgical Recovery Rates in Manitoba

1911 Gold Corporation has confirmed strong gold recovery results from its True North and Ogama-Rockland projects in southeast Manitoba, achieving extraction rates of 93.7% and 96.3% respectively. These findings arrive as the company prepares its True North mill for upcoming test mining and bulk sampling programs.

The metallurgical testing, conducted by ALS Canada Ltd., demonstrates that mineralized material from both sites is highly amenable to standard processing techniques. At the True North project, a 130-kilogram sample from the L10 Zone showed that 51% of gold could be captured through gravity concentration, with the remainder effectively recovered via flotation and subsequent leaching. The company also confirmed that the True North primary ball mill is ready for operation following the installation of new liners, lifters, and a modernized gear lubrication system.

Preliminary results from the Ogama-Rockland project, located 45 kilometers from the True North complex, proved equally promising. A composite sample returned a 96.3% total gold recovery rate using a gravity-flotation-regrind-leach flowsheet. Shaun Heinrichs, President and CEO of 1911 Gold, noted that these results validate the clean nature of the mineralized material and provide a clear pathway for optimizing mill efficiency. The company plans to integrate these metallurgical insights into upcoming trade-off studies and expanded testing during the site’s scheduled bulk sampling activities.
