Dr. Cordry manages a diverse caseload, treating adults struggling with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma stemming from domestic violence. Beyond patient care, he oversees a team of eight nurse practitioners and actively shapes future clinicians through medical education. His expertise in psychopharmacology and diagnostic precision has made him a staple in regional mental health circles.
His path to medicine remains rooted in his early background as a science educator. After graduating from Phillips University, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine. His clinical training included a residency at the University of Kansas and a child psychiatry fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Early in his training, he gained unique experience working with the Kansas City Chiefs, an opportunity that complemented his formal education. Today, he remains board-certified and maintains active roles within the American Osteopathic and Psychiatric Associations, continuing a lifelong commitment to mentorship and the clinical management of chronic psychiatric conditions.
