Webull Hits Record Revenue as Trading Volumes Surge in Second Quarter

Webull Corporation reported a record-breaking second quarter for 2026, with total revenues climbing to $198.8 million. The 51% year-over-year growth was fueled by a sharp increase in trading activity following the elimination of the Pattern Day Trader Rule in early June, which allowed active users to scale their market engagement.

The company’s performance highlights a shift toward profitability, with adjusted net income reaching $43.2 million compared to $15.4 million in the same period last year. Group President and U.S. CEO Anthony Denier credited the surge to the platform's technological readiness, which allowed traders to immediately capitalize on the updated trading environment. Equity notional volume grew to $279 billion, a 73% increase over the previous year, while options contracts volume jumped 68% to 213 million.

Beyond domestic trading, Webull is aggressively scaling its global footprint. The company launched operations in Spain, Argentina, and Colombia, while moving to acquire Thailand’s Pi Securities to solidify its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. These international efforts have helped push the total number of funded accounts to 5.13 million. Additionally, the firm is leaning into artificial intelligence, with its Vega Analyst tool attracting 160,000 new users during the quarter, bringing the total active base for the AI service to 480,000.
