The brand, named after the Korean words for moon and tiger, debuts with four flavors: Original, Peach, Strawberry, and Lychee. Each is bottled at 17% ABV. Lauren Selman, Brand Director of Global Growth and Innovation at Sazerac, noted that the 50mL format is intended to simplify consumer exploration, allowing drinkers to sample the lineup without committing to a full-sized bottle.
Market data underscores the potential for this expansion. According to IWSR, U.S. soju volumes are projected to see a 16% compound annual growth rate through 2029, a pace that significantly outstrips broader spirits trends. As interest in Korean culture and flavor-forward spirits continues to rise, Sazerac is leveraging its existing national distribution network to place the brand in retail stores, restaurants, and bars. The 50mL bottles carry a suggested retail price of $0.99, while the 375mL bottles are priced at $5.99.
