The new model retains the signature dual-burner technology that mimics the movement of a wood fire while eliminating smoke and ash. Engineered for durability, the unit features a UV-resistant, woodgrain-patterned tabletop and a rust-resistant steel frame. CEO John Larson noted that the design shift reflects a broader consumer trend where outdoor living spaces receive the same stylistic attention as indoor rooms.
Functionally, the 42-inch fire pit delivers up to 72,000 BTUs, offering approximately 5.5 hours of burn time on a standard 20-pound propane tank concealed within a magnetic-latching compartment. Designed to seat six to eight people, the table-height structure includes safety features like an integrated heat shield and a cool-to-the-touch surface. To drive initial sales, the company is launching a promotional sweepstakes, offering ten 'Backyard Upgrade Kits' to the first 500 customers who purchase the new finish.
