This approach allows companies to assess the legitimacy of an individual and their credentials in a single workflow.
Beyond consumer-facing programs, the platform addresses the rising threat of business identity theft, which cost consumers nearly $1 billion in 2025 according to Federal Trade Commission data. Traditional KYB checks often fail to confirm whether an applicant is authorized to act on behalf of a registered entity. ID Dataweb now combines entity validation, beneficial ownership screening, and corporate affiliation checks to ensure that digital transactions occur between verified individuals and legitimate businesses.
