The 32-year-old star is leveraging the public’s ongoing fascination with her dating life—specifically her high-profile connection to Hot Ones host Sean Evans—to promote the revamped MyPanera rewards system. Starting August 19, the program shifts to a points-based model where members earn 10 points for every dollar spent. Users can redeem these points for items ranging from bakery treats at 250 points to full entrées at 2,000 points.
Joshua Fine, Chief Digital Officer at Panera Bread, described the move as a direct response to customer demand for greater transparency and personalization. The company is backing the launch with an incentive: members who make a qualifying purchase between August 19 and September 1 will receive 500 bonus points, enough for a free Energy Refresher. The update introduces three membership tiers, including a paid Sip Club subscription, and affects more than 70 million existing users.
For Palmer, the partnership serves as a clever PR pivot. While fans continue to dissect her chemistry with Evans—following their public dinner in Brooklyn and Palmer’s request to "let it cook"—she is opting to control the punchline. By framing the points system as the "refreshingly loyal" partner she has been searching for, Palmer avoids the pressure of a conventional celebrity relationship update while keeping her audience engaged.
