The scale of anticipation is reflected in recent user data, where two-thirds of surveyed players rank the upcoming release among their top three most anticipated games of the year. Half of those surveyed consider themselves more excited for this installment than any previous entry in the series. This enthusiasm is driving significant shifts in consumer behavior, with 56% of respondents planning to begin their playthrough within the first 24 hours of release, and 29% even clearing their schedules by taking time off work or school to accommodate the launch.
Katarzyna Jakubiec, Chief Business Officer at G2A.COM, notes that the release is functioning less like a standard product drop and more like a major cultural event. She observes that the platform is currently witnessing a series of engagement waves rather than a single peak, with interest compounding as new details emerge. While a portion of the player base intends to dive in immediately, others are preparing for a more measured approach, yet the underlying trend remains one of intense, sustained demand across a global audience.
